Positive Behavior Support: P.A.W.S. Expectations
At T.W. Lawton Elementary, we believe that our students are our top priority. Our school is committed to providing our students with a safe and nurturing learning environment. Lawton uses our Positive Behavior Support program known as P.A.W.S. These expectations will be posted in common areas and classrooms throughout our campus. We have identified four expectations and they are the following:
P - Practice Kindness
A - Active Learner
W - Work and Play Safely
S - Show Respect
Students will be recognized when they demonstrate an understanding of these expectations and model them on a daily basis. Recognition will range from verbal praise to earning Mini PAWS and Mighty PAWS for classes. If you have any questions about our program, please contact your child's teacher.
